You could literally do this in 60 days or pick one item a week and have new ideas to keep your teaching fresh all year long. I'm not a music teacher, or a teacher of any sort, but I really enjoyed reading this book. I found there to be informative things that I could apply to my everyday life, and I loved the links to her resources.
I first heard about this book on Facebook. ViolinJudy did a wonderful studio challenge on Facebook a year or so ago. This book expanded on the studio challenge and provides 60 well thought out ideas for improving your studio. She also provides links for additional reading, related Facebook groups, and music related apps. While I already implemented many of her ideas, she includes many tips that may be new for even veteran teachers. I'm excited for the new update!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading Judy's book. It's both for new and experienced teachers who would like to refresh their studio. The reading was very easy and daily task was doable !! And it's as if Judy is your best friend and giving you a great advice daily. I highly recommend this book )
This book is a great resource especially for music teachers just opening their studio or for seasoned teachers who need a few fresh ideas. It's concise and quick to read. I'll probably look back at it from time to time when I feel like my studio could use a boost or some new ideas.
